 The tour will visit new and existing sustainable communities, towns and urban extensions including Western Harbour BO01, Augustenborg in Malmö, Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm and many other sites of interest. There will be ample time for discussion as well as the opportunity to hear from the experts and officers who made it all happen, and from residents who live there. Housing design, transport and infrastructure provision, micro-generation, low and zero carbon energy, climate change adaptation measures, community development and cohesion, waste management, employment, parks and open spaces – all play a part in creating successful places to live. The Tour gives delegates the opportunity to experience at first hand some of the most celebrated such settlements in Europe, and to understand the methods through which they are achieved.

The fee for TCPA members is £1,650 + VAT

The fee for non members is £2,000 + VAT

The fee for volunteers is subject to negotiation.
