The pan-European APaNGO (Advocacy, Participation and NGOs in Planning) project has concluded its activity and published its findings and recommendations.
The APaNGO project is one of the first studies of community engagement and involvement at the European level, covering the findings from studies of the seven Member States in North West Europe (Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland, and the UK) and analysis of the responses to an extensive questionnaire survey.
The APaNGO project website - www.apango.eu - offers resources, such as research reports, case studies, effective community engagement techniques and further training through APaNGO partners’ organisations.
