Volunteer at the TCPA

The following positions are currently available:

Administrative/Project Volunteers
This position is a great way of getting an insight into scope of the Town and Country Planning Association work and reach. Providing general support to everyone in the office, including the Director, you will be a valuable asset to the smooth running and advancement of the organisation. In addition, you will be given a project within your capacity to work on, supervised by a member of staff.

No. of days required: 2 - 5 days a week, duration negotiated with supervisor.

Experience: Some knowledge of Microsoft packages. Good written communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word are essential.

General Information about Volunteering

We ask for a minimum commitment of two days per week over a time period negotiated with a supervisor. On production of receipts/tickets, we will refund the cost of lunch (below £5) and travel expenses on the days worked at TCPA. Regrettably, we are unable to assist non-UK residents who are planning to volunteer in the UK with visa applications, finding accommodation and the likes. Please note that work cannot be carried out from home by volunteers. Please be aware that if you choose to volunteer for the TCPA you are required to inform us about illness or other commitments that interfere with your work for the organisation.
