After a year like no other, there is now universal recognition of the importance of public green spaces. However, these areas are also suffering from the effects of increased use and yet funding for maintenance and expansion is highly uncertain. Over the last four years, the PERFECT project has built a strong economic case for investment in green infrastructure by demonstrating the multiple benefits that these assets provide for communities.

This conference will draw these arguments together and showcase the inspiring examples of exemplary green infrastructure projects and policy. PERFECT partners will share the progress they have made to change policies in their regions to deliver more high-quality green infrastructure over the course of the PERFECT project and highlight the contribution that international collaboration has made to this.
