The government is encouraging the development of new ‘Garden Villages, Towns and Cities’. But what does it mean to be a ‘garden’ community? What are the Garden City Principles and how can they be applied in today’s political and economic context?

This conference will include speakers from a range of places already working hard to create high quality new places inspired by the Garden City Principles and will benefit anyone thinking about, or already embarked on the process, whether they are councillors, planners, developers, or members of local communities.
