This interactive workshop is designed for local authority officers working in rural and upland areas which are prone to flooding from rivers.

The session will begin with an introduction from the TCPA, although we will not spend a lot of time on this and will ask attendees to watch the recording of our previous webinar ‘Planning for climate change – the adaptation challenge’ (available here) in advance. We will then explore several case studies specific to rural and upland areas, including both successful and unsuccessful examples, followed by a group discussion and Q&A session. The session will be as interactive as possible, so please bring your questions and come ready to engage in discussion.

This workshop is strictly limited to 30 participants, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment. We will share the link to join the meeting with participants a few days beforehand.

Please note this meeting will use Zoom software so make sure your IT department will allow the use of Zoom. Please carry out a Test Meeting in advance to test your system compatibility, internet connection and audio settings to ensure you will be able to participate. You can do this here.

Please note this workshop is for local authorities only.
