SUMMARY:An introduction to planning and planning reform for elected councillors
DESCRIPTION:This introductory session will explain the current English planning system and outline how the proposed reforms to the system are expected to be implemented. It will take a high-level scan across the critical issues for local authorities\, with plenty of time for Q&A. \n\n\n\nThe webinar is essential for any councillor who is keen to get a better understanding of the English planning system or what the proposed planning reforms are likely to mean in practice. Cared-for parks\, green spaces and trees add to people’s sense of wellbeing – and generate significant economic value.
