Chaired by Anna Rose, TCPA Trustee and Head of the Planning Advisory Service and facilitated by Hugh Ellis, TCPA Director of Policy, this introductory session will explain the current English planning system and outline how the proposed reforms to the system are expected to be implemented. It will take a high-level scan across the critical issues for local authorities, with plenty of time for Q&A. 

The webinar is essential for newly elected councillors or those recently elected to planning committees, as well as others new to the planning system – developers, consultants, business leaders, council officers, community groups, architects, designers and students.
