Lachlan Anderson-Frank

Lachlan joined the TCPA in May 2025, and is a chartered town planner (MRTPI) who manages the TCPA’s events programme and New Communities Group. Previously, Lachlan worked at the London Borough of Enfield and at Medway Council on housing, infrastructure, and environmental policies in Local Plans and major growth schemes, and prior to that at planning consultancies Lichfields and AECOM.

Lachlan has contributed as an author on architecture and planning to publications including Domus, Icon, the MIT Journal of Urban Planning, and Archdaily and has appeared as a public speaker for the Royal Town Planning Institute, Urban Design London and the Urban Design Group. In his spare time he leads walking tours of East London for Open City and sits on the England Policy Committee of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Lachlan has an MSc in Urban Regeneration from the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL and an MA Hons Architecture from the University of Edinburgh.
