Vacancy: Events and Projects Assistant

Do you have excellent organisational skills and are you calm under pressure? The Town and Country Planning Association is looking for an Events and Projects Assistant to help us deliver our programme of high quality, high profile in-person and virtual events.

The role will involve working with colleagues to help deliver a range of webinars, conferences and parliamentary receptions. These events are an important part of our wide-ranging work that seeks to challenge, inspire and support people to create healthy, sustainable and resilient places that are fair for everyone.

This role is permanent and full time and the salary is between £26,000 and £28,000 per annum dependent on experience. This role will require some travel, in-office working and occasional work outside office hours, with some flexible working, subject to business needs.

The TCPA recognises that experience gained outside work (eg through volunteering or caring responsibilities) can be valuable and encourages candidates to consider this alongside the list of essential skills listed in the person specification. Whilst a familiarity with the built environment sector is desirable, it is not a requirement.

The deadline for applications is 11am on Monday 6 October.

We hope to undertake shortlisting promptly following the deadline and hold interviews virtually on Thursday 9 October.

To find out more about the role, the TCPA and how to apply please see the recruitment pack below.
